About

Emily Boros-Rausch started Greets and Giggles on Valentine's day 2014, when she noticed a lack of greeting cards for same-sex couples. From there, she started making sweet and sassy cards for all occasions, or no occasion at all. Through her watercolour paintings, she displays her love of plants and animals and pulls inspiration from places she has been. Greets and Giggles was later expanded to include small gifts such as terrariums, planters, handmade jewelry, and fair trade textiles.

Emily graduated from the Material Art and Design program at OCAD University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Design. She was then accepted to the Imagination Catalyst program, where she worked on expanding her thesis on medical textiles. She spent most of 2016 backpacking and hiked solo through the Pyrenees Mountains on the Camino Trail from France to Spain.
In 2017, Emily accepted a job in Goa, India for a non-profit organization called Tara Trust, working on an income generation textile program for women. Once the program was up and running, she moved to Australia in 2018, where she continued working on Greets and Giggles and had a small solo watercolour exhibit in Melbourne.

Along side Greets and Giggles Emily also works part-time at MiaThrives, a Canadian non-profit organization where she has been the Creative Director since 2019. She is based out of Moncton, New Brunswick, where she lives with her husband, son and dog and continues to make cards and paintings from her home studio.
